METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PERFORMING WAKE-UP FOR SL DRX OPERATION IN NR V2X - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18249447 titled 'METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PERFORMING WAKE-UP FOR SL DRX OPERATION IN NR V2X
Simplified Explanation
The patent application describes a method for wireless communication between two devices.
- The first device transmits information to the second device through a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH).
- The transmitted information includes details for scheduling a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH).
- The first device also transmits additional information or data to the second device through the PSSCH.
- The first transmitted information can include a wake-up indicator signal (WIS) field.
- The WIS field can activate an active time related to sidelink discontinuous reception (SL DRX).
Original Abstract Submitted
Presented in one embodiment is a method by which a first device performs wireless communication. The method may comprise the steps of: transmitting, to a second device, through a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH), first sidelink control information (SCI) including information for scheduling a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH); and transmitting, to the second device, second SCI or data through the PSSCH. For example, the first SCI can include a wake-up indicator signal (WIS) field. For example, an active time related to sidelink discontinuous reception (SL DRX) can be activated on the basis of the WIS field.
