A DRX-based communication method for power saving in sidelink communication is disclosed. A method for operation of a base station includes the steps of: transmitting information of PSFCH intervals to a terminal; determining an SL DRX cycle on the basis of the PSFCH intervals; and transmitting information of the SL DRX cycle to the terminal, wherein the SL DRX cycle is determined such that a PSFCH according to the PSFCH intervals is located within an on-duration of the SL DRX cycle.
