ALLOCATION OF CORESET#0 FOR NEW RADIO - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18406810 titled 'ALLOCATION OF CORESET#0 FOR NEW RADIO

Simplified Explanation: The patent application discusses a method for allocating CORESET #0 for new radio (NR) by determining a control resource set zero configuration table based on the synchronization raster of a narrowband new radio, receiving a physical broadcast channel, obtaining information from a master information block, and using the obtained information to determine the control resource set zero for the narrowband new radio.

Key Features and Innovation:

  • Allocation of CORESET #0 for new radio (NR)
  • Determining control resource set zero configuration table based on synchronization raster
  • Obtaining information from a master information block
  • Using obtained information to determine control resource set zero for narrowband new radio

Potential Applications: This technology can be applied in the field of telecommunications, specifically in the allocation of resources for new radio systems.

Problems Solved: This technology addresses the challenge of efficiently allocating control resources for narrowband new radio systems.

Benefits:

  • Improved resource allocation efficiency
  • Enhanced performance of narrowband new radio systems

Commercial Applications: The technology can be utilized by telecommunications companies to optimize resource allocation in new radio systems, potentially leading to improved network performance and customer experience.

Prior Art: Prior research in the field of resource allocation for telecommunications systems may provide insights into similar methods and techniques.

Frequently Updated Research: Researchers in the field of telecommunications and radio systems may be conducting ongoing studies on resource allocation methods for new radio technologies.

Questions about Resource Allocation for New Radio Systems: 1. How does the method described in the patent application improve resource allocation efficiency for narrowband new radio systems? 2. What are the potential implications of using the determined control resource set zero for new radio systems?

Original Abstract Submitted

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for allocation of CORESET #0 for new radio (NR). A method may include determining a control resource set zero configuration table to be applicable based on a synchronization raster of a narrowband new radio where a synchronization signal block has been detected; receiving a physical broadcast channel according to a puncturing assumption; obtaining, from a master information block indicated in the received physical broadcast channel, a row index pointing into the control resource set zero configuration table; determining information related to at least one of information of punctured or non-punctured resource blocks, or interleaving information, based on the row index; and using the determined information to determine the control resource set zero for the narrowband new radio.
