this disclosure is directed to methods, systems, and devices related to wireless communication, and more specifically, to prolong battery life by using ultra-low power mechanism that can support low latency. a method of wireless communication, comprising receiving, by a wireless communication device, from a network device, a configuration of a low power wake-up signal (lp-wus) in a serving cell; determining, by the wireless communication device, a reception of signals according to the configuration of lp-wus; and wherein the signals contains a lp-wus, a synchronization signal block (ssb) or a paging message.
