Patent Applications by Zoom Video Communications, Inc.

20250086869. Viseme Prediction_simplified_abstract_(zoom video communications, inc.)

Inventor(s): Yuhui Chen of San Jose CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Cheng Lun Hu of Singapore (SG) for zoom video communications, inc., Bo Ling of Saratoga CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Gengdai Liu of Singapore (SG) for zoom video communications, inc., Huixi Zhao of San Jose CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Yian Zhu of San Jose CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc.

IPC Code(s): G06T13/20, G06T13/40, G06V20/40, G10L25/18, G10L25/57, H04L65/403

CPC Code(s): G06T13/205

Abstract: various embodiments of an apparatus, method(s), system(s) and computer program product(s) described herein are directed to a viseme engine. the viseme engine receives audio data associated with a user account. the viseme engine predicts at least one viseme that corresponds with a portion of phoneme audio data and identifies one or more facial expression parameters associated with the predicted viseme. the facial expression parameters being applicable to a face model. the viseme engine renders the predicted viseme according to the one or more facial expression parameters.

20250088553. REAL TIME TROUBLESHOOTING FOR VIDEO CONFERENCES_simplified_abstract_(zoom video communications, inc.)

Inventor(s): Shania Asadipour of San Jose CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Xingzhi Luo of Sunnyvale CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc.

IPC Code(s): H04L65/80, H04L65/403

CPC Code(s): H04L65/80

Abstract: one example method includes executing a video conference application at a client device; determining, at the client device, based on one or more of a plurality of real time performance measures or a user input, the presence of a fault associated with a currently-active video conference executed in the video conference application, and determining, at the client device by the video conference application, a plurality of potential causes of the fault based at least in part on the plurality of real time performance measures. the example method further includes providing, at the client device by the video conference application, a notification of the presence of the fault to the user, and generating, at the client device by the video conference application, a list of potential actions to alleviate the fault in real time, the list of potential actions based at least in part on the plurality of potential causes of the fault.

20250088607. CONTENT STREAM DISTRIBUTION FOR VIDEOCONFERENCING VIA DYNAMIC MESH TECHNOLOGY_simplified_abstract_(zoom video communications, inc.)

Inventor(s): Adi David REGEV of Fair Lawn NJ (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Alexander Shneyderman of Wayne NJ (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Nicholas Alexander Sieracki of Sylmar CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Michael Adrian White of Alpine UT (US) for zoom video communications, inc.

IPC Code(s): H04N7/15, H04N7/14

CPC Code(s): H04N7/152

Abstract: systems and methods for efficient distribution of video conferencing streams to client computing devices via dynamic mesh technology are provided. for example, a client computing device associated with a participant of a video conference joins the video conference. the video conference involves multiple participants each associated with respective client computing devices. the client computing device receives a message indicating the client computing device is a child node in a mesh network. the mesh network includes a parent node selected from the client computing devices and multiple child nodes. the client computing device streams a video stream for an active speaker of the video conference from the parent node and presents the video stream in a user interface of the video conference on the computing device.

20250088800. AUTOMATIC AUDIO EQUALIZATION FOR ONLINE CONFERENCES_simplified_abstract_(zoom video communications, inc.)

Inventor(s): Yuhui Chen of San Jose CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc., Zhaofeng Jia of Saratoga CA (US) for zoom video communications, inc.

IPC Code(s): H04R3/04, G10L21/0208, H03G5/16

CPC Code(s): H04R3/04

Abstract: example methods and systems provide automatic audio equalization for online conferences. a target, ideal, audio frequency response for use in online conferencing audio can be designed and preset for reference, and the equalizer can operate in real time to reach the target frequency response for any input. the equalizer can selectively apply per-band equalization to the audio signal as needed to adjust an energy value for each of multiple frequency bands to produce an output audio signal that that can be, as an example, routed through meeting servers or other infrastructure to other conference participants. the equalization can compensate for conditions local to a speaker that would otherwise adversely affect audio quality.
