Abstract: techniques for monitoring video conferencing quality-of-service in autonomous systems are disclosed. in an example method, a video conference provider establishes a video conference including a plurality of client devices, in which each client device is connected to an autonomous system of a plurality of autonomous systems. the video conference includes a first client device connected to a first autonomous system administered by a communication service provider (csp). the video conference provider determines, from packets received from the first client device, video conference information. the video conference provider determines one or more metrics about performance of the video conference in the first autonomous system based on the video conference information and outputs the metrics in real-time.

Abstract: one example method for integrating software application content into video conferences includes receiving, by a video conferencing application executed by a client device from a video conference provider, one or more participant video streams, each participant video stream corresponding to a participant in a video conference; receiving, by the video conferencing application from a software application, software application content; receiving, by the video conferencing application from the software application, display layout information; generating, by the video conferencing application, a graphical representation of the video conference according to the display layout information, the graphical representation comprising at least a portion of the software application content and at least one of the one or more participant video streams; and displaying, by the video conferencing application, the graphical representation of the video conference.

Abstract: a text message communication is received from an operator device. a telephone number is assigned to a contact center agent device to enable the contact center agent device to use the telephone number to participate in a text message communication. use of the telephone number by other devices is restricted while the telephone number is assigned to the contact center agent device. at a conclusion of the text message communication, the telephone number is released from the contact center agent device to enable one of the other devices to use the telephone number to either continue the same text message communication or to participate in a different text message communication.
