Abstract: a smart injection system includes at least one mobile device and at least one injection device with electronics that can be used by a user. the mobile device is configured to wirelessly receive information regarding a glycemic state of the user, use this information to automatically calculate medication doses to be administered, and to transmit the calculated doses to the injection device.
