a durable underwear brief panty adapted to accommodate an absorbent component is disclosed. the panty may include a crotch portion that exhibits a poisson contraction effect upon lateral stretching of 0.40 or less. a combination of a brief panty and an absorbent pad, and an array including a brief panty product and an absorbent pad product, are also disclosed. the products are useful for management of incontinence.
