a heating cooker includes a heating cooking compartment, an upper wall, an irradiator, and a reflector. the heating cooking compartment allows a heating-target object to be accommodated therein. the upper wall constitutes at least a part of the heating cooking compartment. the irradiator is disposed on an outer side of the heating cooking compartment with respect to an upper wall and irradiates an inside of the heating cooking compartment with light from an outside of the heating cooking compartment. the reflector is disposed at a position on the upper wall opposite to the heating cooking compartment, and reflects light emitted from the irradiator. the upper wall has a first opening configured to allow light emitted from the irradiator to pass through, and a second opening configured to allow light reflected from the reflector to pass through.
