a rechargeable battery includes an electrode assembly and a casing configured to accommodate and seal the electrode assembly, wherein the electrode assembly includes a cell stack including a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes alternately stacked one by one with a separator interposed therebetween, the cell stack including a first part having a first thickness, and a second part having a second thickness smaller than the first thickness, a correction sheet positioned on the second part and configured to uniformize a thickness of the cell stack, and a pair of first fixing parts positioned over front, lateral, and rear surfaces of the cell stack and having a portion that overlaps the correction sheet.
