a control method for a refrigerator includes: obtaining an input image generated by photographing an inner space of the refrigerator; with respect to one or more objects recognized from the input image, obtaining object information including a type and a position of the one or more objects, respectively; by using an ultra-wide band (uwb) module included in the refrigerator, detecting a uwb signal output from a uwb device while the uwb device is arranged inside the refrigerator; based on the detected uwb signal, identifying a position of the uwb device; identifying an object which is located around the uwb device, from among the one or more objects recognized from the input image, based on the identified position of the uwb device; and outputting the object information with respect to the object identified as being located around the uwb device as an audio signal.
