various aspects relate generally to dynamic uplink carrier selection for uplink control information (uci) multiplexing. a user equipment may signal uplink carrier selection information to support informed carrier selection while decreasing the occurrence of switching gaps associated with signalling the uplink carrier selection information. the ue may transmit, on one carrier, uplink carrier quality indications associated with multiple carriers. the ue may receive a dynamic carrier selection indication and multiplex uci on the selected carriers.
