Abstract: a case for an aerosol delivery device is described. the case comprises a lid, an accelerometer (for detecting movement indicative of the lid position changing from a closed position to an open position), a battery status indicator, and a controller. the controller is configured to activate the battery status indicator when said signal indicates that the lid position has changed from the closed position to the open position.
