CPC Code(s): A63F13/52

Abstract: in one embodiment, a computing system may determine a device pose of a handheld device in a real-world space based on one or more sensors associated with the handheld device. the system may determine a head pose of a first user associated with the handheld device based on face-tracking data of the handheld device, the head pose being with respect to the handheld device in the real-world space. the system may render a first avatar associated with the first user in a virtual space based on the head pose of the first user in the real-world space. the system may render one or more virtual objects in the virtual space to the first user based on the head pose of the first user in the real-world space.

20250137927. IMAGE-SENSOR-BASED SCATTERING MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD_simplified_abstract_(meta platforms technologies, llc)

Inventor(s): Jian XU of Redmond WA US for meta platforms technologies, llc

IPC Code(s): G01N21/47

CPC Code(s): G01N21/4738

Abstract: a system is provided. the system includes a light source configured to emit a probing beam to illuminate an optical element. the system also includes an image sensor configured to be rotatable around the optical element within a predetermined rotation range. the system also includes a controller configured to control the image senor to move to a plurality of angular sub-ranges of the predetermined rotation range to receive a plurality of scattered beams output from the optical element. the image sensor is configured to generate a plurality of sets of speckle pattern image data based on the received scattered beams. the sets of speckle pattern image data provide two-dimensional (“2d”) spatial information of speckles.

20250138327. SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ROTATABLE HOUSING UNITS_simplified_abstract_(meta platforms technologies, llc)

Inventor(s): John Terpsma of Bellevue WA US for meta platforms technologies, llc, Taryn Monteleone of Seattle WA US for meta platforms technologies, llc

IPC Code(s): G02B27/01, H04R1/02

CPC Code(s): G02B27/0176

Abstract: systems and methods for facilitating rotation of audio components within artificial reality devices includes a rotatable housing unit configured to be coupled to a head-mounted display such that the rotatable housing is configured to rotate relative to the head-mounted display and at least one electronic port that is mechanically coupled to the rotatable housing unit such that the electronic port is configured to rotate as the rotatable housing unit rotates and electrically coupled to an electronic subsystem of the head-mounted display.
