IPC Code(s): G02B6/28, G02B27/48
CPC Code(s): G02B6/2804
Abstract: the disclosed method may include receiving laser light from a laser light source. the method may also include directing and distributing the laser light onto a laser-based panel display to render pixels having a reduced spatial coherence and a preserved pixel pitch. for example, the pixels may be rendered as a result of an optical path distance between the pixels being greater than a coherent length of the laser light. alternatively or additionally, the pixels may be rendered as a result of incoherent addition of light from at least one of multiple ports or multiple sources. alternatively or additionally, the pixels may be rendered as a result of active modulation of the laser light. alternatively or additionally, the pixels may be rendered as a result of quasi-random placement of outcoupling elements. various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

CPC Code(s): G02B27/0172
Abstract: a near-eye display includes a display panel (e.g., a liquid crystal display (lcd) panel or organic light emitting diode (oled) display panel) configured to generate a display image, and display optics configured to project the display image to a user. the near-eye display also includes an optical attenuation layer formed on the display optics, between the display optics and the display panel and spaced apart from the display panel, or on a side of the display optics opposing the display panel. the optical attenuation layer includes, for example, a polarization film, an infrared (ir) blocking coating, an ir blocking optically clear adhesive layer, a photochromic (or uv blocking) coating, or a combination thereof. in some examples, the optical attenuation layer is formed on an accessory device (e.g., a prescription lens or a lens cover) of the near-eye display.

CPC Code(s): H05K3/4015
Abstract: the present disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for producing an interconnect. a method of manufacturing an electronic device includes forming a first circuit component at a first portion of a deformable substrate. the method further includes forming a second circuit component at a second portion of the deformable substrate. additionally, the method includes electronically coupling the first circuit component and the second circuit component with a composition. the composition includes a first metal material further including a first weight percent (w %) of the composition. the first metal material is gallium indium alloy, gallium tin alloy, gallium indium tin alloy, gallium indium tin zinc alloy, or a combination thereof. the composition includes a filler material disposed within the first metal material. the filler material includes a second w % of the composition. accordingly, the method forms an interconnect between the first circuit component and the second circuit component.
