an air conditioner may include a main body including a case, a first fan that is disposed inside of the case and supplies air to an indoor space, and a heat exchange coil that is disposed inside of the case and controls a temperature of flowing air, and a piping module fixedly disposed on an outside of the case and connected to the heat exchange coil. the piping module may include a first vertical pipe connected to one side of the heat exchange coil and extending away from the case, a horizontal pipe connected to one side of the first vertical pipe and disposed in parallel with the case, and a strainer disposed in the horizontal pipe and configured to collect foreign substances contained in a flowing fluid. the horizontal pipe may include a main pipe, a bypass pipe connected in parallel to the main pipe, a pair of main pipe valves configured to open and close a main pipe internal flow path, and a bypass pipe valve configured to open and close a bypass pipe internal flow path. the strainer may be disposed in the main pipe between the pair of main pipe valves.
