a display device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise: a display unit; a wireless communication unit configured to communicate wirelessly with a mobile terminal; an external device interface unit configured to provide a wired connection with the router to wirelessly receive user datagram protocol (udp) packet from the mobile terminal; and a control unit configured to: change the wired connection with the router to a wireless connection when a missing state of the udp packet is detected based on the udp packet received from the router, and receive the udp packet from the router through the wireless communication unit.
