a folding mechanism comprises a first cam structure, a second cam structure, and an elastic part, wherein the elastic part is located between the first cam structure and the second cam structure; in a process of folding or unfolding the electronic device, there are deformations on the first cam structure and the second cam structure along the extension direction of the length of the folding mechanism, a deformation direction of the first cam structure is opposite to a deformation direction of the second cam structure; and a length of the elastic part changed during the process of the folding or unfolding the electronic device.
