Original Abstract Submitted

this application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. in comparison with an implementation in which a first device performs positioning based on measurement results corresponding to reference signals transmitted on a plurality of paths, a first measurement result sent to the first device is a measurement result corresponding to a first reference signal transmitted on a single path. in this way, interference of multipath transmission can be avoided in a process in which the first device performs positioning based on the first measurement result, and positioning accuracy is improved. in the method, the communication apparatus receives first request information from the first device, and the first request information is used to request to report the measurement result of the first reference signal. the communication apparatus measures the first reference signal transmitted on a first path, to obtain the first measurement result.
