a conference assistance system assists a user who is an operator of a mobile object participating in an online conference from an interior of the mobile object to execute functional operations that are operations for various functions related to the online conference. the conference assistance system includes: a detection unit that detects a user action which is an action of the user; a registration unit that stores and registers correspondence information in which a predetermined user action and the functional operations are associated with each other in a storage device; and an execution unit that executes the functional operations associated with the detected user action with reference to the correspondence information based on the user action detected by the detection unit.
