an ultrasound image different from an ultrasound image displayed on an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus can be provided to a person in a remote location as close to real time as possible. an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus acquires raw data by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves, and generates a first ultrasound image by applying first image processing to the raw data. the raw data is transmitted from the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus to an image processing apparatus via a communication path including a high-speed communication path. the image processing apparatus generates a second ultrasound image by applying second image processing different from the first image processing to the raw data. the second ultrasound image is displayed on a display of the image processing apparatus.
