an imaging device includes an actuator, a light shielding curtain configured to operate by receiving a supply of motive power generated by the actuator to control exposure to an imaging element, a vibration unit configured to generate vibration by receiving a supply of the motive power generated by the actuator, and a switching unit configured to supply the motive power of the actuator to the light shielding curtain in a case where a mechanical shutter is used, and to supply the motive power of the actuator to the vibration unit in a case where an electronic shutter is used.
