a system includes a capturing apparatus, an external apparatus, and a recording apparatus, wherein the capturing apparatus includes a capturing unit configured to capture a plurality of two-dimensional images having parallax according to an instruction from among instructions of a plurality of types, wherein at least any one of the capturing apparatus and the external apparatus includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire the captured plurality of two-dimensional images regardless of a type of the instruction, and a first generation unit configured to generate an image according to the type of the instruction based on the acquired plurality of two-dimensional images, and wherein the recording apparatus records the captured plurality of two-dimensional images in an association manner.
