an image processing device acquires a first image that is an image of an area based on at least one of a position and an orientation of a head of a user, and a second image that is an image of an area based on at least one of the position and the orientation of the head, the second image including a portion corresponding to a portion of the first image, acquires information regarding movement of the head, generates, on a basis of the information, a third image by moving or transforming the first image and to generate a fourth image by moving or transforming the second image, and performs gradation processing on each of the third image and the fourth image, wherein in the second image processing, the gradation processing is performed on a basis of the information.
