a recording apparatus controls a color difference caused by a degree of foaming of foaming particles in a case of forming a recording product including a convex structure that is formed by causing the foaming particles to foam, by determining application amounts of colored liquids so that a larger amount is applied to a region that is caused to foam in a larger degree even when the colored liquids indicate the same color.
