disclosed are methods, systems, and computer-readable medium to perform operations including generating an extended range physical layer protocol data unit (er-ppdu) for transmission to a receiver, the er-ppdu including an ultra-high reliability extended range long training field (uhr-er ltf) and an ultra-high reliability extended range signal field (uhr-er sig), and transmitting the er-ppdu to the receiver, in which at least one of the uhr-er-ltf or the uhr-er-sig is repeated two or more times in the time domain or the frequency domain.
