Abstract: a display device includes a substrate including a display area and a non-display area, a via layer having a recess in the display area, wherein the recess includes a bottom surface and an inclined side surface which is inclined at a first angle relative to the bottom surface, and the inclined side surface connects the bottom surface to a top surface of the via layer, a first electrode including an inclined portion extending along the inclined side surface of the recess and a bottom portion extending along the bottom surface, an organic light emitting layer disposed on the first electrode, and a second electrode disposed on the organic light emitting layer. a first thickness of the inclined portion and a second thickness of the bottom portion are different.
