Abstract: the present application relates to a cu, a du, a ue and a method for adu based data transmission. the cu: receives adu information related to a plurality of adus from a cn; determine drb and adu association information related to one or more of the plurality of adus that are associated with one or more drbs to the du of the network node over a cu-du interface; and transmit the drb and adu association information and the adu information to the du over the cu-du interface.
