METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR COVERAGE DATA COLLECTION ENHANCEMENTS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS

Abstract: methods, apparatuses, and procedures for enhancements of coverage data collection and measurement reporting in wireless communications are disclosed. for example, a method implemented by a wireless transmit/receive unit (wtru) includes receiving configuration information for measurement reporting, the configuration information indicates one or more triggering conditions to start measurement and report measurement, one or more sets of parameters for measurement, and one or more measurement report configurations. the method also includes performing one or more measurements on at least one cell using the one or more sets of parameters and based on the one or more triggering conditions, and transmitting one or more measurement reports based on the one or more triggering conditions and the one or more measurement report configurations.
