Abstract: example techniques and systems are disclosed for training a p-frame model. an example system includes one or more memories configured to store media data and one or more processors implemented in circuitry coupled to the one or more memories. the one or more processors are configured to acquire a corrupt i-frame. the corrupt i-frame has at least one of a) a peak signal-to-noise ratio that meets a threshold or b) one or more areas of inserted errors. the one or more processors are configured to train the p-frame model using the corrupt i-frame.
