Method and Apparatus for Enhancing RLC Acknowledge Mode Under Exceeding Maximum Retransmissions and Dual-No Conditions

Abstract: provided in the present disclosure are a method and apparatus for enhancing an rlc am under exceeding maximum retransmissions and dual-no conditions. the method includes: when the number of retransmissions of the first message that has not been received by a receiving end reaches a preset threshold value, reconstructing the first message into a short message, and sending the short message to the receiving end; and when a polling timer expires and a dual-no condition is met, sending, to the receiving end, a second message having the minimum message sn in a set of messages for which positive acknowledgments of the receiving end have not been received. the dual-no condition is that no message in the sending buffer and the retransmission buffer can be sent at the current moment, and a new message cannot be sent due to no space in a sending window.
