Abstract: a power conversion device includes: first upper arm switch, a first lower arm switch, a second upper arm switch, a second lower arm switch, a third upper arm switch, a third lower arm switch, an upper arm rectifier, a lower arm rectifier, first to third inductor, a connection line, a single-phase charge switch installed in the connection line, first to third capacitors, a connection switch, and a control unit. when the control unit determines that the single-phase ac power source is connected to the first ac terminal and the fourth ac terminal, the control unit closes the single-phase charge switch and opens the connection switch, and, for converting power between the first ac terminal and the fourth ac terminal and the high voltage dc terminal and the low voltage dc terminal, performs switching control of the first upper arm switch and the first lower arm switch.
