Abstract: an optical system including a lens assembly includes a first lens having a positive refractive power and an object-side surface that is convex, a second lens, a third lens, a fourth lens, a fifth lens, and a sixth lens having a positive refractive power and an image-side surface that is concave, the first lens, the second lens, the third lens, the fourth lens, the fifth lens, and the sixth lens being along an optical axis from an object side of the lens assembly toward an image side of the lens assembly, an image sensor including an imaging surface, and an aperture between an object and the first lens, wherein a central thickness of the first lens is greater than a central thickness of each of the second lens, the third lens, the fourth lens, the fifth lens, and the sixth lens, measured with respect to the optical axis.
