Abstract: a work machine includes a plurality of constituent portions including a first portion. a system for the work machine includes a storage device, an input device, and a controller. the storage device stores center of gravity positions of the plurality of constituent portions. the input device receives input of a first parameter for determining the center of gravity position of the first portion. the controller calculates a center of gravity position of the entire work machine based on the center of gravity positions of the plurality of constituent portions. the controller sets the center of gravity position of the first portion by using the first parameter when the first parameter is inputted with the input device. the controller sets the center of gravity position of the entire work machine based on the center of gravity positions of the plurality of constituent portions that include the set center of gravity position of the first portion.
