PHOTOBIOREACTOR MONITORING OF ALGAE-TO-CO2 MASS RATIOS FOR CARBON CAPTURED BY MICROALGAE

Abstract: a system and method for quantifying cocapture by photobioreactors using microalgal biomass are disclosed. the method involves accurately quantifying carbon dioxide capture by photobioreactors using microalgal biomasses involves determining a unique ratio relating carbon consumed to biomass produced for each microalgae strain. this ratio is then used to predict coremoval from flue gases or industrial processes based on the dry mass of the corresponding biomass produced. machine learning models are also trained on data obtained from the photobioreactors to predict coconsumption rates under varying conditions, thereby enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of carbon capture technologies.
