Abstract: a power tool includes a housing, a motor in the housing, an accessory holder configured to hold a power tool accessory and driven by the motor, a torque tube in the housing, a strain gauge on the torque tube, and a controller. the controller is configured to control operation of the motor based at least in part on a measurement from the strain gauge. the torque tube has a first end and a second end opposite the first end. the second end of the torque tube is rotationally fixed to the housing.
