Abstract: a rebar tying machine may include a feeding unit configured to feed a wire; a guide unit including a first wire passage through which the wire passes, the guide unit configured to guide the wire around rebars; and a cutter configured to cut the wire. a leading end of the wire may be configured to pass through the feeding unit, the cutter, and an exit of the first wire passage in this order. at the start of a tying process for tying the rebars with the wire, the leading end of the wire may be positioned at a first position that is closer to the exit of the first wire passage than the cutter is.
