Abstract: the present disclosure provides a method for adjusting a video progress. a global thumbnail map is provided on a video playback interface. a game video including a virtual object running on a virtual race track is displayed on the video playback interface. a thumbnail map for the virtual race track is displayed on the video playback interface. a target playback progress of a game video is determined in response to a location selection operation on the thumbnail map, and on the basis of a target location selected by the location selection operation. a playback progress of the game video is adjusted to the target playback progress.
