Abstract: an autoinjector includes a pump that has a reservoir for holding a medication and an outlet associated with the reservoir for discharging the medication. the autoinjector has a working side at which the medication is deliverable from the pump, and a non-working side opposite the working side. a housing holds the pump and has at least one finger grip proximally located to the working side, in a further embodiment of the foregoing embodiment, the pump includes a button portion operable to mechanically activate an evacuated driver, and the button portion protrudes from the housing on the working side.
