Abstract: in some aspects, the present disclosure provide systems for forming crosslinked reaction products, which comprise (a) a first composition that comprises a first multifunctional molecule that comprises a plurality of first reactive moieties that comprise oxyamine groups and (b) a second composition that comprises a second multifunctional molecule that comprises a plurality of second reactive moieties that comprise aldehyde or ketone groups, wherein at least one of the first and second multifunctional molecules is a multi-arm polymer and wherein at least one of the first and second multifunctional molecules comprises one or more covalently attached iodine groups. other aspects of the present disclosure pertain to crosslinked networks that are formed using such systems and methods of treatment using such systems.
