Abstract: described herein are uses of the somatostatin modulator 3-[4-(4-amino-piperidin-1-yl)-3-(3,5-difluoro-phenyl)-quinolin-6-yl]-2-hydroxy-benzonitrile, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, in the treatment of carcinoid syndrome.
