Abstract: a light emitting element includes a first electrode, a light emitting structure disposed on the first electrode and including an emission layer, a second electrode disposed on the light emitting structure and including silver (ag) and a metal dopant, and a capping layer directly disposed on the second electrode. an average volume ratio of the metal dopant in the second electrode is less than or equal to about 30%, and a volume ratio of the metal dopant in a region adjacent to the capping layer is less than the average volume ratio of the metal dopant in the second electrode, and thus both maintaining excellent electrical and optical properties and having improved reliability.
