Abstract: a display device can include a plurality of pixels in which each pixel includes a gate line, a data line, a power line, and a reference line, a switching thin-film transistor, a driving thin-film transistor, a sensing thin-film transistor, a storage capacitor, and a light-emitting diode. also, the switching thin-film transistor, the driving thin-film transistor and the sensing thin-film transistor include an active layer, a gate electrode, a source electrode, a drain electrode and a light shield layer. further, one of the drain electrode and the source electrode of the switching thin-film transistor is integrated into a single layer being coplanar, and extends directly from the light shield layer. also, the light shield layer of the driving thin-film transistor is below the active layer where the gate electrode and the active layer overlap, which is different than the switching thin-film transistor and the sensing thin-film transistor.
