Abstract: discussed are a light-emitting element and a display device including the light-emitting element. the light-emitting element in one example includes a first semiconductor layer, a first light-emitting layer disposed on the first semiconductor layer, a tunnel layer disposed on the first light-emitting layer, a second light-emitting layer disposed on the tunnel layer and configured to emit light with a wavelength different from a wavelength of light emitted from the first light-emitting layer, and a second semiconductor layer disposed on the second light-emitting layer. the first light-emitting layer includes a plurality of first sub-light-emitting layers configured to emit light with different wavelengths. the second light-emitting layer includes a plurality of second sub-light-emitting layers configured to emit light with different wavelengths.
