Abstract: a communication apparatus according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a metallic casing, a non-metallic member, and a cover part. a through-window for communication waves to pass therethrough is formed in the metallic casing. the non-metallic member is provided inside the metallic casing and reinforces the metallic casing. the cover part is made of a resin and is formed separately from the non-metallic member and arranged exposed as viewed from outside of the metallic casing to cover the through-window.
