Abstract: a circuit includes a current source, a first switch, a second switch, a sample and hold circuit, and an analog-to-digital converter (adc). the current source has a current input coupled to an input terminal configured for resistor connection, a first current output, and a second current output. the first switch has a first terminal coupled to the first current output, and a second terminal. the second switch has a first terminal coupled to the second current output, and a second terminal. the sample and hold circuit has an input coupled to the second terminal of the first switch and the second terminal of the second switch, and an output. the adc has an input coupled to the output of the sample and hold circuit.
