CABLE RETAINER AND METHOD

Abstract: a cable retainer for connecting a flat cable, a first object, and/or a second object to one another may include a base, a retention member, and a channel. the base may include a platform, a fastener extending from the platform, a plurality of walls extending from the platform, and a plurality of wall openings disposed in the plurality of walls. the fastener may be engageable with said second object. the plurality of walls may be disposable through a portion of said flat cable. the plurality of wall openings may be aligned with one another and may at least partially define a common passage in which a connector is received to connect said first object to the base. the retention member may be adjustably connected to a first wall of the plurality of walls and may be adjustable to an open position and to a closed position.
