Abstract: a cable tap structurally configured to provide enhanced protection against radio frequency interference and environmental conditions. the cable tap may include a first housing portion, a second housing portion configured to attach to the first housing portion, and a barrier portion supported on the second housing portion and structurally configured to extend into an interior of the first and second housing portions when the first and second housing portions are in a loose condition to form a physical barrier to inhibit radio frequency interference and block the ingress of rain and debris into the interior to provide enhanced protection against radio frequency interference and environmental conditions when the first and second housing portions are in the loose condition.
