Abstract: a multilayer electronic component includes a body including a capacitance formation portion including a dielectric layer and internal electrodes disposed alternately with the dielectric layer in a first direction, and cover portions disposed on both surfaces in the first direction of the capacitance formation portion, and including first and second surfaces opposing each other in the first direction, third and fourth surfaces connected to the first and second surfaces and connected to each other in a second direction, and fifth and sixth surfaces connected to the first to fourth surfaces and opposing each other in a third direction; connection electrodes disposed on the third and fourth surfaces and connected to the internal electrode; side margin portions disposed on the fifth and sixth surfaces and including resin; and external electrodes disposed on the connection electrodes and including conductive metal and resin.
