Abstract: the present disclosure relates to a magnetic confinement device comprising a plurality of modules coupled to each other, wherein each module () is adapted to conduct current in order to form a magnetic field and has:—a first wall () having a connecting surface () adapted to engage a connecting surface of another module of the plurality of modules; and—a groove () separating the first wall () into at least two different electrically conducting regions.
